1. The service

wan-dancer.com (“the Site”) is an independent community project around Wan-Dancer-14B, the open-source music-to-dance model released by Alibaba's Tongyi Lab under the Apache-2.0 license. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Alibaba or Tongyi Lab. The Site currently provides written guides about the model, a status page for hosted API availability, and a waitlist for a browser-based generation tool that has not launched yet. By using the Site you agree to these terms.

2. Informational content

Guides, comparisons, and status information on the Site are provided in good faith and kept as current as we reasonably can, but the model, its tooling, and third-party hosting offers change quickly. We make no guarantee that any instruction, benchmark, or availability claim is accurate, complete, or up to date, and you follow technical instructions (such as running the model locally) at your own risk.

3. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist creates no obligation on either side: we promise one notification email when online generation opens, you can ask to be removed at any time, and being on the list does not guarantee access, pricing, or a launch date. How waitlist data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

These rules apply to any generation features we offer on the Site now or in the future, and to anything you create with the model by following our guides. You must not use them to:

• violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party;
• create dance videos of a real, identifiable person without that person's consent, or use a generated video to impersonate someone or misrepresent what they did or said;
• generate sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that exploits or harms any person;
• create or spread content intended to deceive, defame, or harass — including presenting an AI-generated video as authentic footage in any context where authenticity matters;
• upload or process photos or music you do not have the rights to use.

We may refuse or withdraw access to any feature for violations of these rules.

5. Ownership and intellectual property

The written content of this Site belongs to wan-dancer.com. The Wan-Dancer-14B model weights and code belong to their respective licensors and are available under Apache-2.0 from the official repositories linked in our footer. We claim no ownership over videos you generate: as between you and us, output created from your photo and your music is yours. Note that generated output does not clear third-party rights for you — rights in the source photo, the music track, and any recognizable person's likeness remain with their owners, and it is your responsibility to secure them before using a generated video, especially commercially.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and any generation features are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated video quality varies with input and is not guaranteed.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, wan-dancer.com will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Site, and our aggregate liability for all claims is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, while the Site is free, is zero. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Site evolves — in particular when the browser generation tool launches. The date at the top reflects the latest revision, and continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms. If a future paid feature changes these terms materially, the change will be posted here before it applies.
